When Sagiri is watching TV, Ruri Gokou and her sisters from Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai can been seen during the street interview.
Elf mentions mentions her plan to defeat Dengeki Bunko, which is a real life Japanese publishing imprint affiliated with Ascii Media Works. They publish light novels and includes works such as Eromanga Sensei and Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai.
After Elf mentions her intention to defeat Dengeki Bunko, a brief montage of characters from their works are shown including:
- Tatsuya Shiba from The Irregular in Magic High School
  - Both Tatsuya and Kotetsu Izumi share the same Japanese voice actor, Yuichi Nakamura, who also voices Kyōsuke Kōsaka in Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai.
- Holo from Spice and Wolf
- Kirito from Sword Art Online, who calls out his sword skill name "Starburst Stream"
  - Both Kirito and Masamune Izumi share the same Japanese voice actor, Matsuoka Yoshitsugi, who also voices Kaede Makabe in Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai.
- Tin Writer from Accel World appears on the shoulder of Kirito.
